Designed by Kezi Ferguson, this production concept for Elizabeth Erwin's My Mañana Comes was made as part of a collaboration between LAMDA and the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama.
In the back of an expensive New York City restaurant, four busboys compete for shifts and tips — each day more precarious than the last. The design placed the audience surrounding a modular kitchen, with detailed photographs of the work being projected into the space as if captured live.
The model box was displayed at the National Theatre as part of the exhibition celebrating Kezi Ferguson as one of 2026's Linbury Prize winners. Kezi is a scenographer with a background in fine-art and metal work; she works across theatre and opera. Her work is often poetically informed - with a focus on intentional design. She trained at the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama.
