A new opera based on Günter Wallraff’s Ganz Unten, a landmark work of undercover journalism exposing the mistreatment of Turkish migrant workers in Germany.
Narrated by Günter, with Ali - his disguised alter ego - singing, the opera follows Ali through a series of exploitative and dangerous jobs. This shocking docu-opera explores the working conditions faced by those forgotten at the bottom of society.
